Our Story Began

In 1982 by John B. Ringleb, Star Sales Distributing Inc. began as a carpet, cushion, and resilient flooring distributor serving New Mexico’s flooring industry. In 1985, the company expanded into installation equipment and supplies, reinforcing its commitment to operating as a true, full-service distributor.

The company has always been family-driven. Jane Ringleb joined the business in 1987, followed by their daughter, Amy Hawley, who became part of the team in 1989 while still in high school. Their involvement helped shape the culture, values, and steady growth of the organization.

Over the past 43+ years, Star Sales Distributing has grown into the largest stocking flooring distributor in the state, built on a foundation of dependable inventory, quality products, and exceptional service. As a family-owned and operated business, we take pride in maintaining long-term relationships with our customers and partners.

Today, the third generation of the family has joined the team, continuing the legacy of commitment and leadership that defines Star Sales Distributing. Colton Monahan has been with the company for five years, contributing to its continued growth while upholding the values of service, integrity, and industry expertise established from the very beginning.
